The best round is the one you know feeds reliably in your weapon and that you can hit the target with.

Try several brands out. See what works for you accuracy wise. Then run enough of them through the gun to know it likes them.

Hornady TAP 230 gr and WWB 230 gr tend to feed the .45's around here.
