That's a good point, PJR. I didn't realize the difference in weight was that great.

Recoil really isn't an issue for me until I get into the third or fourth box of shells.

I fired 75 shells yesterday, 12 ga., 2 3/4", 1 1/8th ounce 8 shot, 3 dram equiv.

I could have gone another 25 or 50 shells, but I was starting to notice the recoil.

Today my shoulder is a little tender, but not really sore.

Last couple times out I rented a Browning Sporting Clays Gold, and even with the barrel porting the recoil from the Browning was worse with the same power shells.
