Single action grips are simply on the short side if you have large hands. Most people will have at least one finger under the grip frame. In a small caliber revolver this should not be a problem. With big bore magnums it most definitely is a problem. This grip frame was designed in the days of black powder and you didn't really need much grip to control the gun.
