Try a middle of the road load with the same bullet weight and as many of the other factors the same as you can find, then back off about 10%, and work up slowly till you are satisfied.

There is, of course, the possibility that the powder you are trying to use, and your rifle, are not "happy" with each other, but that is another matter entirely.
