take the hammer nose out and resell the hammer...who knows, you might even make money on the deal...I have come out ahead on replacing gun parts several times just like that.

Thanks for the suggestion. I dont see many stainless forged hammers on Ebay but there are a few on GunBroker.

Will this one work? I kind of like the bobbed hammer for CCW carry.
