Hit the pawn shops and gun shops after hunting season and ask. Or look in the last spaces on the gun rack thats furthest in the back of the shop. I have six or eight single shot 12 and 20ga guns and .410 and 12ga bolt actions laying around that I saved and restored and I don't think I paid over $40 for any of them. Around where I live cut down single shots used to be good sellers, old hunting guns turned into short defense guns. They were pretty popular behind the counters of businesses in my area.
