I thought, that in one of the last few posts, the writer mentioned that this business was intended to promote restrictions on "assault weapons", words to that effect. I cannot now find the particular post, so I might be all wet on that.

That being said, real "assault weapons" spelled selective fire weapons are already restricted in federal law, and have been since 1934 (NFA of 1934). state laws, being another story, vary.

As to other aspects, cover up on coverup on coverup, followed by obfuscation. It keeps going round.
