long range shots,but must also have removable clip,flat top

i have a bushmaster a2 with 24" bull barrel,harris bipod,with cal match scope,someone camoed over all the scope info but its within 4" out to about 400 yards the only thing i dont like is that if there is any wind it really blows a light little bullet around. my 243 i can get out to about 550 within 4" if i have time adjust the scope get a dead rest and range find the target it just takes way too long in setup to do with any acuracy so im after something i can reach out and touch something with a minimum of 600 yards , but also may want it for some close quater shots.
