For liability reasons I do not like to publish my powder charge weights any longer but this is the basic load that I use in my Rem. 700VSSF. It will produce sub MOA groups all day long at 100, 200 and 300 yds.

Federal Gold Medal brass trimmed to 2.005
Sierra 168gr. HPBT #2200 bullet
Winchester 748 powder*
Weight each charge exactly
Federal 210M primer
COL 2.800

* Use a good loading manual (Sierra is one)and pick a charge w/the 748 that will give you 2600-2650 fps.

This load will shoot as well or better than the Federal 308M ammunition in a good rifle.

Good luck...
