Nice revolver and nice to see someone actually shooting DA. The "sixbangsandaclick" thing needs work though. And flicking the cylinder shut (6:57) isn't just a loss of style points, it isn't good for the gun.
That Patridge front sight is good for target work. As you note, changing it will involve some 'smithing, in which case, a good option is a
Weigand interchangeable sight base, so you can have your Patridge sight for target work, and, say, fiber optic, for applications where that might be better.
