My Redhawk came from the factory with an eight pound single action pull.
Redhawks are very touchy to get a decent pull weight. The single spring system is a pain. Changing angles brings a lighter pull with a host of other problems. Push off and hammer catching the sear as the trigger is pulled are two.
Fine stones for polishing every moving part can make a big difference. Don't forget spots where the rame rubs against the hammer. Follow with a good oil for lubrication.
