Their statement that they won't plate "Scandium" is puzzling since "Scandium" guns are simply aluminum that is alloyed with a very small amount (I believe it's less than 1%) of scandium. Then again I'm not a metallurgist--maybe it makes enough of a difference that it won't plate...
