Those 2 calibers are 1 in the same, fyi. Also, it could have been 38 colt since the barrel does not say "WCF". Without the WCF, unless it was buffed away, I doubt its a winchester caliber. The plating and lack of original grips seriously take away from the value. The grips could be replaced but since the gun was replated, its not worth much of a farther investment. Its a neat historical piece however.
