I have owned a 22 for 10 years. the number of times i've used it to take down a bad guy: 0

the number of times i use it for target shooting and plinking: very little

I also own a beretta px4 in 9mm for about a year. in that year, ive put through it more than 1500 rounds at the range

turns out when ammo is 50% more than another ammo, (9mm $9.50 to $12 compared to $14-$17) you tend to shoot more

until i got my hands on 1k steel cased wolf ammo for like around $230, i rarely shot the glock. now i shoot maybe half a box(25 rounds) at the range compared to the 150 rounds of 9mm i bring

but, to answer your question, since you arent concealing, get the 35
LWD makes barrels for them, from the .40 to the .357 sig, to the .40 to the 9mm
