Don't know why you'd want feed it a "steady diet of +P ammo" since it comes at the expense of increased wear and tear on the gun and your wallet both. I'm sure the gun could handle it fine but I can't think of a good reason for it.

The duty ammo in my FNP45T is +P but I only shoot enough to assure reliable function and then burn up what I've been carrying when we qualify and load up fresh afterwards. I carry the same ammo in my off duty gun (a 1911) but the formula is the same - shoot enough to be confident that it functions, use it up when qualifying and replace with fresh. All other shooting I do, whether training, practice, or competition is with standard pressure ammo.
