Please ask these gentlemen what they predict will replace the .40. I can believe that about the .45GAP, it's like kissing your sister. If you gotta have .45 get THE .45.

In 20 years it is likely there will be another wonder cartridge or two around but I think the short .40 is here to stay and is filling the gap (bad pun) between 9 mm and .45 ACP very nicely.
