It's very similar to NRA Bullseye pistol. Same ranges, 25 and 50 yards. Same rules, one handed hold, you can't lean on anything, wear ski boots, or anything that would provide artificial support. Same targets the NRA uses for rapid and timed fire.
One difference, the center of the bullet hole much touch the scoring ring in order to count as a hit on the higher scoring ring. In NRA Bullseye, if the bullet hole touches the scoring ring, it counts as a hit on the higher scoring ring.
Also, we have to use open sights, no holographic or optical sights.
In the Texas Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, an aggregate consists of six targets with a possible score of 600 points.
25 and 50 yard caplock pistol
25 and 50 yard flintlock pistol
25 and 50 yard revolver
We do not have a timed fire match for the revolver, but they do in the NMLRA matches in Friendship.
