For those interested, Dennis Tueller will be on the radio today ("Utah Outdoors with Roger B.", KALL Radio 910 AM, on at 3-5 PM).

He will also be hosting a free presentation on "Responsible Gun Ownership" at the PMAA Range this week on Thursday 11/15 at 7PM, in view of the recent increase in interest in gun ownership since the events of Sept. 11.
If you know folks who are new to gun ownership, or are simply thinking about the option, this should be informative.

Some of the topics included will be:

Firearms safety principles
How to decide whether or not you should even own a gun
How to select a self-defense handgun that suits your needs
How to obtain your Concealed Carry Permit
Practical considerations for carrying your gun
Your rights and responsibilities regarding self-defense and lethal force

This training event is scheduled for Thursday, 15 November, 7:00pm at the Salt Lake Police Mutual Aid Association Hendriksen Range just a few miles east of SLC on I-80 (south of the freeway at the East Canyon Exit #134).
