Daggitt - that's exactly the dilemma - I wouldn't feel right paying less than $450 to a buddy, but it is not worth that to me because it's not a gun I'm after. I hope he'll get at least $450 as a trade, since he's going to have to pay MSRP for what he's ordering. We go out on Wed. - should be interesting.
The four of us were at supper and my wife started in on me about too many guns. I asked the ladies what they thought the minimum value of the guns we owned would be, each, as a percentage of today's NIB prices and assuming nice & clean. They conceded that it would be at least 50% and maybe a shade more. Then I asked her what that fancy $4K set of pearls I bought her a long time ago is worth today. Then they changed the subject.
