For right out of the box reliability and accuracy I'd be inclined to get the Browning SA22. Light, great balance and a real tack driver. You can't hang all of the tactical looking items off of it, but it will shoot rings around a stock 10/22. It's also a breakdown rifle making it easy to cary around when trekking in the backwoods.
