G22 is a gun I've been taking to the range lately. I love it. You can find good deals on the 22 cause the police used lots of em. Interchangeable mags/barrels give you more versatility with the 22. Unless you want to shoot .45, I'd get the 22. You can shoot 9mm (and I'm told, .357Sig), and switch to .40.
