$2500 price range? thats top dollar for an AR, why not because you are new to AR's. Buy an Colt 6920, great deal and value. Colt has been making them from the 70's and thats who I went with for my first AR. $1200 OTD.
Unless you are going to fight a war, or shoot comp I don't see why waste $2500 on an AR. When you can have a great AR for $1200 and 2k + rounds and a nice scope for $2500, which you will probably never shoot out.
