They approached our Production Director and asked if they could advertise. They allowed us to edit copy. I made the call.
The ad stays, as long as they want it. It's hardly a "sex ad". It's hardly distasteful. It's no more insulting to me than an ad for a "miracle" workout product. I may not buy it, but I'm not going to dictate who sees it. IOW, I may have standards, but I'm not a prude!
This is not an ad for Hot Latino Women Waiting Just Across the Border....as were those we cut.
Lighten up guys. There's many out there who are interested in that type of stuff....just ask Bob Dole.
