i shot 2 from the tent in unit 16 last year. both were agresive. next, i cary on the russian all the time.. and im dang glad i do.. i keep a running total have seen 47 bears fishing there in the last 3 years... thats ALOT. there not scared of poeple and sombodys gona get eaten there soon. spend a few weeks every summer there and you would see why all the locals carry. great fishing there to btw, a 223 may kill a bear but NOT with any consistency. now lets quit acting like 3rd graders!
