I have not had any experience with the HK. I do not need any to vote for the Rugers though. I own the 9c and have spent some time with the other two. They are excellent weapons that work exactly as advertised.
With that said, if money was not tight I would spend $1200+ on a new Colt 1911 with no remorse at all. Buy what makes you happy.
