EBR or Evil Black Rifle is a sarcastic and or slang term used in reference to the anti-gun community's perception of semiautomatic rifles that often share common cosmetic features with military rifles.
Much like a few years ago, every time that a handgun was used in a crime the news media would report a "Glock" was used.
