I carried a Colt 1908 .25 for years and liked it very much. However I have moved to the LCP and have not feelings bad about that. I have suffered through many discussions of only idiots carrying the 25 but still believe that a 25 in a desperate situation is a good choice. It is small and to an attacker is a gun, that fires, at him. Spare me the "only carry a 45 or such" and take advantage of the small (that is the first choice, right?) hidden pistol.
