I have having some problems with splitting ar the mouth of my .38 and.357 mag cases. I am loading to mid-range and not "hot" loading. I have only experienced problems with the .38 special and .357 mag brass....never with any of my auto (9mm, 40 S&W, .45 ACP) nor with my .45 Long Colt brass.

Anybody know why this brass is predisposed to splitting at the case mouth?

Thanks, Mikey
