Make Mine a 1911

1911 for uniform use, for a lot of reasons.

Really? May I ask to know a few reasons?
*Sturdy auto that will take abuse and keep working
*Can be used as a bludgeon without falling apart
*Heavy, slow caliber (if it is chambered in .45ACP) that has relatively low recoil so followup shots come quickly
*Heavy, slow caliber that is less likely to over-penetrate than smaller, faster calibers
*Large frame with a decently long sight plane for relatively long range fire
*Manual safeties that prevent ADs for those decently trained
*No fear of using reloads
*Ability to extensively modify the gun and hang attachments on the modifications (e.g. Picatinny Rail)
