Not every state has Pennsylvania's system. Many states have no central registry. What you're proposing would be more restrictive than existing laws in those states.

No, they don't. I don't mean to be smarmy when I say that. It's just that we don't have any need to offer up compromises. The organizations that pushed many of the new restrictions in our lifetimes are now hollow shells of their former selves. If the VPC or the Brady Campaign wants to talk,
we have the upper hand, not them. We don't have to make concessions to gain something, so
why do so?
