I've got a 4 day weekend ahead and a sunny forecast, so plan on spending some time at the range.

I'm building up some new loads for 7mm-08 and 45/70. Any suggestions that have worked well for you? The 45/70 is a reasonably strong single shot, but not as strong as a Ruger #1.

Also, I'm going to load up some Barnes-X bullets in both calibers, so any info relating to that would be helpful.
