Marlin bought H&R/NEF and then it was bought by Remmington/"Private Equity company. So your beloved Marlin decided to continue building a shotgun outside of the United States. Same thing Fiat/Dodge are doing with the made in Mexico Dodge trucks. Again, H&R Pardners owners are happy with their guns and H&R is an old time American Comapny. Great product at a great price.
