I was in the IDF, and ran a regional armory for another few years for the Israeli Border Guards. I have grave doubts that an IMI Timberwolf was ever an issue weapon in any IDF unit, or that one was ever carried as a "main weapon" in any IDF unit. I can imagine a few possible uses, for some very specific purposes, but............
Without divulging any personal or secret info, it would be very interesting to hear something about the type of unit or specific mission requirement that the Timberwolf was used for.
