So that their name is 2 syllables, to get their attention, but specific commands are 1-syllable (sit, stay, down, heel, come, fetch, off). Don't have a suggestion yet - will offer when I have them. I have a Rudy, and a Nika, and an Ally (aka Allison Krauss, aka "AK"), right now. Inv, I had a "Casey" dog once...
