That is rather questionable in my experience, and more importantly my experience also is that if you show that you are a hard target the baadguys will go away most of the time. So the revolver is quite sufficient for the task. Now, if you happen to get the unusual oddball event, having a whole bunch of bullets won;t make that much difference either. If you are comfortable with the revolvers keep them, they are a good choice.
