Super-Dave's post may actually be closer to reality than some of you think.
Memphis has seen it's share of riots, and is rife for more. Florida is full of racial and ethnic tensions. Terrorism is not only possible, but likely. Civil disorder would certainly follow a terrorist attack.
A beater shotgun or rifle in the trunk is not a bad idea.
When tensions are particularly high here in dear old Memphis, I "pack heavy" for my 30+ mile trip home through this wonderful city.
