I am not certain about Rossi, but finding a particular model may be a matter of production scheduling. I searched for nearly a year to find my .357 Marlin. I apparently made my decision to buy the gun just after most of the previous production run had sold out and had to wait until Marlin did another run of .357s in the model I wanted.
