I, especially, should be a bit more aware of how cryptic these danged abbreviations can be. I've only been on the internet a few months and I'm barely holding my own.

However, the MOST important help for TFL (The Firing Line) would be the "faq" (frequently asked questions) near the top right of the TFL forums and threads. This will explain how to do urls, e-mail links, bold, italics, smilies

and some other goodies.
