I've only ever seen one Calico in real life- a .22LR model. I didn't shoot it, but it sure did not have anything close to a quality feel about it. With a full magazine it would be rather top heavy and the grip was not comfortable at all. The general feel just kinda was of something slapped together and not well finished.
It's a neat idea with that helical magazine, but I just don't know that it ever worked that well in practice.
