NAA .22 mag. all the way.

I own a two shot derringer.
Derringers are cool looking toys.

Given the choice between screwing the barrel of it into someone's ear @ point blank range( or more correctly trying to do that) or using a knife, I'd take the knife 7 days a week over the derringer.
