I agree with what Smaug and the others have said, go with the 9mm. Another thing about the LC9 is that it's a Ruger, so it's built to be utterly reliable from day one. The Ruger LC9 would be perfect for pocket or ankle carry, primarily as a backup weapon to something slighly larger.
