This is an old thread, but I only saw the replies now.
When I said that the Taurus PT58 is a compact version of the PT92, I meant that the PT58 frame has exactly the same dimensions as the frame of a 9mm PT92. The Beretta Cheetah, OTOH, has a completely different, much smaller frame than a Beretta 92. If the Cheetah is large for a 380, then the PT58 is huge.
