Saw that on the news tonight, apparently a second manager tried to explain that they were off duty cops but it was too late.

I personally witnessed an even stupider act, I may have posted it before so forgive me if I repeat. Several years ago at a Wal-Mart store, a uniformed female State Highway Patrol officer stopped at the aforemention store, I believe she had something like a loaf of bread and gallon of milk, something anyone on their way home might do. Being fully uniformed she was obviously armed, as she was checking out, a "manager" appeared and explained that they don't allowed the carry of firearms in their store and she would have to leave, I am sure I had the same look on my face as she did two lanes away "SAY WHAT", I am not even sure she said anything but the manager was quite insistent, she paid for her items, and was escorted to the door by the stupidest manager any wal-mart anywhere has ever hired. Even the check-out person had a shocked look on her face. Sometimes you see stuff that just makes you shake your head.
