While close I still figure I can cast 3 to 1 even the plated stuff.
I still have quite a stash of the free stuff ,but I can see an end to it given enuff time & primers!
With all the shooting I`ve done I figure the equipment is paid for .
If I had to buy lead straight out it would probably curb my shooting some ,but not as much as conserving primers rite now , as a bullet trap makes shooting lead a "renewable" resource !!

I`ve cast since `83 & collected molds & furnaces & other tools to cast with .
If I were just starting out ,you ask a very viable question , Is it feasible ???
For the wknd. plinker/target shooter probably not but for the competitor that shoots ALOT more yes.
With all that in print ,knowing what I have learned & mostly the hard way !
I know I`d still cast my own bullets to my specs & firearms.
