I'd personally get the HK, but I'm I big HK fanboy. The SCAR is probably pretty close behind, though.
If you're just looking for the one with the most parts compatibility, I think the HK will hold that for a while even if the SCAR becomes more standard--there's a LOT of AR stuff out there already. Then again, it's a gamble on IF the SCAR becomes more standard while the HK already is.
I really don't think either one is better than the other in any major way and you really can't go wrong with either one. I'll personally be jealous of you regardless which one you pick.
