Some Savage Mark II rifles have iron sights and the CZ452 and 455 Lux come with iron sights. I prefer a CZ452/455 American with a scope and I don't mess around with crappy scopes. You'll want to stay with a rimfire scope because they are set to be parallax free at 50yds vs 100yds for a centerfire scope. The high quality but still low budget option is a
Weaver Classic Rimfire RV4 4x28 for about $120. The second high quality budget option is a
Weaver RV7 2.5-7x28 for about $140 and it also a darn good little scope. The medium buck option is a Leupold
FX-1 4x28 or
VX-1 2-7x28 both are about $220.
A step down in optical quality from all of the above but still a decent scope is a
Nikon ProStaff 3-9x40 or
4x32 Rimfire scope. I include them because the CZ requires pretty high rings and larger scope might look better up high.
This may help you compare.
The CZ455 Lux is designed for open sights.
The CZ455 American is designed for use with a scope.
