Personally owning 3 Surefire's, I'm definitely going to try and persuade you. It may be just a notch above what you were wanting to spend, but that one notch will definitely make a difference as well as stay there a long time.

I would get one of the newer G2's, the G2X. One of the models can be had for $55.
