Took it to the range... lots of fun, been saving the brass. On one of the trips, another shooter, had one also. He was measuring his 300 gr rounds for speed. He was claiming... he was getting 2500fps out of his hand loads. I did not believe him... so I watched his Chronograph. It showed 2460+!
Talked with a Gun Dealer in Montana. He was claiming that the guides were using hot loaded 450 Marlins. Claimed, that the hot rounds were dropping the large animals. The Montana Smith, had not heard one complaint about the 450. Not sure how honest he was? It appears, he knew what he was talking aboout.
I am kinda on the conservative side. I need to know if anyone else has been loading any hot 450 Rounds?
