I had the taurus 24/7 45acp and I currently have a ruger p95. Both were reliable and actually I think the taurus was a little easier to shoot accurately. The taurus shot a tad low and taurus doesn't have different height sights to get the gun to shoot exactly to point of aim. I sold the taurus because I already had other 45's I liked better. I guess it is a toss up but I tend to think I would trust the ruger more. You know ruger makes 45's too. Mark
