the 226 is more of an upscale pistol
the price is average of 800 or more for it
they are very nice
the Sig Pro 2022 is a great gun
but its more entry level at the 400 dollar mark
however its my personal belief that we will not see the 2022
stay at 400 long. Its really a better gun than the price shows.
They made it before as the 2009, but it got dropped because it came with 2 mags and the price point was not moving then. In all fairness though it was more of an economy of the time than the gun. nothing was selling well.
at 400 dollars the 2022 is one of my personal favorite guns
it shoots excellent its dead on with the sights that are ADJUSTABLE
unlike many cheaper pistols
